RGCGI Raises over $940K

I am pleased to announce that The Robbie Gould Celebrity Golf Invitational Presented by Ace Hardware netted over $940,000. Thank you for everyone’s help and support!

Nothing thrilled us more than to raise funds to support Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital. The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital, provides superior pediatric care in a setting that offers the latest benefits and innovations in medical technology, research and family-friendly design. The hospital relies on philanthropic support to care for more than 174,000 children each year. Funds will help create a tree-house like library space in the Family Life Center.

I always enjoy staying at our host hotel, The Hyatt Regency O’Hare. One of the best parts of playing in the tournament is the tee gifts! Tour Edge, our exclusive club manufacturing partner, provided the participants with golf bags and clubs. Furthermore, this year was even more special, as we added a new partner, Snell Golf, to the event. They too exuberated generosity to the event by providing dozens of golf balls! Special thanks to our golf course host, Medinah Country Club, for their service, support, and hospitality.

I would like to personally thank the numerous celebrities involved in this charitable day: some include Lisa Salters, Brian McCaskey, Carlton Fisk, Michael Waltrip, Don Beebe, Kevin Butler, Jim Covert, Cliff Levingston, Melanie Collins, Trey Wingo, James ‘Big Cat’ Williams, Roberto Garza, Ryan Diem, Jay Hilgenberg, Tommy John, and Bill Wennington. In addition to the celebrities, a huge thank you to the many volunteers, families, and friends; we could not have done this without you!
